Job Overview

• Location: Sharjah, United Arab Emirates

• Reports To: Claims Manager / Survey Manager

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field preferred

• Experience: 3–8 years in motor surveying, auto damage assessment, or claims adjustment

• Skills: Strong technical understanding of vehicle systems, great attention to detail, good customer-service and negotiation skills

Role – Key Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site and off-site inspections of damaged vehicles.

• Assess extent of damage and prepare detailed condition and repair reports.

• Estimate repair costs, coordinate with repair shops, and recommend appropriate actions.

• Document vehicle survey findings with photos, diagrams, and cost projections.

• Negotiate claim settlement with insurers, clients, and garages.

• Liaise with insurance adjusters, clients, and external stakeholders.

• Provide technical advice on vehicle repair methods and parts.

• Stay up-to-date with automotive technology, repair standards, and insurance practices.

Required Qualifications & Attributes

• Strong technical background in automotive mechanics or engineering.

• Proven experience in motor claims surveying or an insurance/adjusting environment.

• Excellent analytical and report-writing skills.

• Ability to assess vehicle damage accurately and estimate realistic repair costs.

• Good communication and negotiation skills.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a claims team.

• UAE driving license often required.
