Department: HSE / Health, Safety & Environment
Reports To: HSE Manager / Operations Director
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
Experience: 10–15 years in HSE coordination, engineering, risk management, or safety roles
Certifications (Advantageous): NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and systems across projects
Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
Lead incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective action planning
Provide HSE training and awareness programs for staff and contractors
Monitor regulatory compliance and ensure alignment with local and international safety standards
Coordinate with project teams, engineering, procurement, and operations to integrate safety into all phases
Prepare HSE reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management
Support emergency response planning and execution
Drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement
Required Skills & Qualifications
10–15 years of hands-on experience in HSE roles within industrial, construction, or engineering settings
Strong knowledge of safety engineering principles, risk management, and compliance frameworks
Excellent audit, inspection, and investigation skills
Proven ability to design and deliver HSE training
Good communication, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities
Analytical mindset and experience in HSE data analysis and reporting
Proficiency with HSE software tools and Microsoft Office
Ability to work in a dynamic, project-driven environment
