Role – Accountant / Finance Manager
In this role, you will oversee accounting operations (AP, AR, GL), financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls. You will also play a strategic role in driving finance growth, working with business leaders to support decision-making and financial planning.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting operations: general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
Implement and maintain internal financial controls and policies.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
Lead and mentor the accounting / finance team.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
Track KPIs and financial performance against targets.
Participate in strategic planning and business growth initiatives.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) strongly preferred.
8–15 years of experience in a finance role, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial capacity.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS / UAE GAAP) and financial reporting.
Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills.
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Leadership skills: able to manage and grow a finance team.
Proficiency in Excel, ERP/accounting systems.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven.
