Role – Landscape Maintenance Supervisor
You will oversee the daily maintenance activities of multiple sites: manage teams of technicians/workers, ensure irrigation and planting systems are functioning, schedule preventive tasks, monitor quality and safety, liaise with clients and ensure the landscape meets agreed standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate maintenance crews in planting, lawn care, irrigation, pest control and general landscaping.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules (daily, weekly, monthly) for assigned sites.
Inspect sites regularly to ensure work is being done to standards, identify issues and initiate corrective actions.
Monitor irrigation systems, drainage and landscape health; coordinate repairs or replacements.
Maintain inventory of supplies, tools and equipment; ensure crews are well-equipped and safe.
Prepare reports on site status, maintenance log, cost variance and workforce productivity.
Liaise with clients or site-owners regarding maintenance requirements, issues and service improvements.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental guidelines and company standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Landscaping, Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
4–8 years’ experience in landscape maintenance supervision, preferably in Oman or GCC region.
Knowledge of irrigation systems, planting, hardscape maintenance and green-space management.
Strong leadership, team-management and communication skills.
Good organisational ability, able to plan and execute multiple site tasks.
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with maintenance scheduling software a plus.
English proficiency required; Arabic considered an advantage.
