Job Overview

• Reports To: Merchandising Supervisor / Sales Manager

Role – Merchandiser

You will be responsible for the in-store execution of merchandising plans: ensuring product displays are set up correctly, stock levels are maintained, pricing and promotions are implemented, and sales performance is monitored. You’ll liaise with store staff, sales teams, and suppliers to ensure your assigned categories meet performance and visual standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute merchandising plans and ensure correct placement of products in stores.

• Monitor stock levels, ensure replenishment and execute planograms/promotional displays.

• Coordinate with store managers and sales teams to maintain product visibility and rotation.

• Review sales data, identify gaps and work with supplier or category team to optimize performance.

• Ensure that pricing, signage, and promotions are accurately reflected in stores.

• Assist with inventory audits, store visits and corrective actions when required.

• Provide feedback and reporting on category performance, stock issues and competitor activity.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification preferred.

• Experience in merchandising, retail category management or store operations.

• Knowledge of merchandising techniques, planograms, stock replenishment and retail metrics.

• Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a retail environment and travel to stores as necessary.

• Proficiency in MS Office; additional merchandising tools are a plus.

• English proficiency; Arabic will be an advantage.
