Role – ERP Business Analyst

In this role you will analyse business processes, gather requirements, liaise between business and IT teams, support ERP modules (such as finance, procurement, inventory or sales), and participate in rollout, testing, training and optimisation phases. Your goal is to ensure the ERP system supports business needs effectively and drives operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and document business requirements for ERP modules (finance, procurement, inventory, sales) and translate into functional specifications.

  • Analyse existing business processes, identify gaps and recommend improvements. (see typical template) Himalayas

  • Work closely with IT/ERP project teams to configure modules, develop customisations, support data migration and participate in UAT.

  • Provide training and support to end-users, help drive adoption of new systems or modules.

  • Assist with change-management activities, create user-documentation and ensure smooth system integration.

  • Monitor system performance, gather user feedback and propose enhancements or fixes.

  • Collaborate with business units to ensure data-integrity, process compliance and system alignment with organisational goals.

  • Prepare reports and dashboards to support management decisions on ERP-performance and process optimisation.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.

  • 5-10 years’ relevant experience in ERP roles — preferably in GCC or Bahrain region.

  • Hands-on experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor) or similar. bh.linkedin.com

  • Strong business-process analysis, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.

  • Experience with UAT, training and system roll-out.

  • Good communication and documentation skills; English required, Arabic preferred.

  • Ability to engage between business and technical teams, translate business needs into system solutions.

Salary & Market Insight
