Experience: 7-12 years (or more) in planning / project scheduling roles with proven track record in managing large-scale projects

Role – Planning Manager
You will oversee the planning and scheduling function: developing the baseline schedules, updating progress, identifying delays, running recovery plans, preparing reports & dashboards, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring planning standards & procedures are followed. You’ll also lead a team of planners or specialists to deliver accuracy and timeliness in planning outputs.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed project schedules from initiation through construction, using tools like Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.
Establish Work Break-Down Structures (WBS) and critical path items.
Monitor actual progress vs baseline, perform delay analysis, propose recovery schedules when needed.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and other teams to gather inputs and validate schedule assumptions.
Prepare periodic reports, dashboards, look-ahead plans, and forecasts for senior management.
Manage planning team: assign tasks, review work, coach, ensure quality of deliverables.
Manage risks to schedule & suggest mitigation or corrective action.
Maintain compliance with contracts & ensure schedule updates are auditable.
Present planning and schedule status to senior leadership/stakeholders, anticipate impacts from changes.
