Role – Planning Engineer
You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining construction schedules using Primavera P6 (and possibly MS Project), monitoring actual progress vs baseline, analyzing schedule delays (due to variations or disruptions), recommending recovery or mitigation strategies, coordinating across site / contractors / consultants, and generating reports & dashboards for stakeholders. You’ll need to ensure alignment across civil, architectural, MEP and specialty packages.
Key Responsibilities
Develop & maintain detailed construction schedules (baseline & updates) using Primavera P6.
Monitor progress, resource allocations, productivity; identify variances and potential delays.
Coordinate with site teams, contractors & consultants to collect progress data.
Prepare recovery schedules where needed; participate in risk analysis / change order / EOT (Extension of Time) claims.
Generate weekly & monthly progress reports, dashboards for management & stakeholders.
Ensure integration across various workstreams (civil, architectural, MEP, specialist trades).
Support planning workshops, coordination meetings, mitigate schedule risk.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil / Construction / similar)
Minimum 7 years planning experience; experience in entertainment parks or complex/tourism/infrastructure projects is a plus.
Expert user of Primavera P6, familiarity with Microsoft Project and scheduling / reporting tools.
Strong numerical, analytical skills; able to interpret delays, disruptions, prepare mitigation & recovery plans.
Good communication & coordination skills; ability to liaise across contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
