Job Overview

Role – QHSE Officer

You will ensure that safety, hygiene, and quality standards are upheld across operations. Responsibilities include conducting audits and inspections, investigating incidents, maintaining documentation, managing risk assessments, coordinating with regulatory bodies, facilitating emergency drills, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure conformity with QHSE standards, identify improvement areas.

  • Investigate incidents/accidents, determine root causes, and prepare reports with corrective recommendations.

  • Collaborate with project / operations teams to integrate QHSE in planning and execution.

  • Maintain and update QHSE documentation (policies, manuals, procedures).

  • Engage with regulatory bodies during inspections and audits.

  • Implement emergency response plans; organize drills and preparedness.

  • Monitor performance metrics, analyze trends, prepare reports for leadership.

  • Promote culture of safety, hygiene, and continuous improvement among staff.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 3-5 years relevant experience in QHSE / HSE roles; experience in food service / catering / facility management is an advantage.

  • Certifications such as HACCP Level 4, NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are essential.

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and practical application of standards.

  • Strong skills in risk assessment, audits, incident investigation.

  • Analytical skills and ability to interpret QHSE metrics and data.

  • Excellent English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.

  • Knowledge / proficiency of QHSE management tools/software.

  • GCC or Oman driving license is an advantage.
