Role – Project Engineer

You’ll act as the technical and operational bridge in project delivery: coordinating between design, manufacturing, site installation, logistics, and client feedback. You’ll ensure specifications are met, technical issues resolved, timelines followed, and quality maintained from beginning to handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project drawings / designs and provide technical input during execution.

• Coordinate with manufacturing department, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth workflow.

• Monitor project timelines, track progress against plan, identify delays, and work to mitigate risks.

• Ensure materials and products meet quality / specification standards (e.g. finishes, measurements).

• Prepare installation schedules, supervise or follow up installation or site works as needed.

• Maintain project documentation: progress reports, site photos, change requests, quality inspection checklists.

• Liaise with clients on technical clarifications, site adjustments or modifications.

• Assist in cost tracking and ensuring procurement aligns with project budgets.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 2-5 years’ relevant experience in project engineering / furniture / interiors / manufacturing / installation.

• Good knowledge of furniture/interiors manufacturing processes and materials, especially lab furniture is a plus.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications.

• Strong coordination and communication skills; able to work with internal teams and external vendors.

• Problem-solving mindset; attention to detail.

• Proficient use of software/tools like MS Office, scheduling tools; CAD or similar tools helpful.

Salary Estimate

• Based on comparable roles in Sharjah / UAE, the salary for Project Engineers with this level of experience is often in the range of AED 6,000 to AED 8,000 per month, depending on responsibilities, project scale, and company.
