Role – Maintenance Associate

You will perform daily maintenance tasks, assist with preventive maintenance schedules, respond to breakdowns, repair or replace faulty equipment or fixtures, and support facilities operations. Your work helps avoid downtime, ensures safety, and keeps the work environment functional for all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, tools, fixtures, and facility systems (electrical, plumbing, mechanical).

• Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot faults; carry out minor repairs or supervise technician work.

• Assist in inspecting facility components (e.g. lighting, HVAC filters, doors, safety systems) and report issues.

• Maintain maintenance logs and records: track work done, parts used, equipment status.

• Assist with the procurement of spare parts and supplies; coordinate with suppliers or contractors when needed.

• Ensure work meets safety and hygiene standards, adhere to local regulations and company safety protocols.

• Keep maintenance work areas clean, orderly, and safe.

• May assist with installation, equipment moves, set-ups, or reconfiguration tasks as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Technical diploma/certificate or equivalent experience in maintenance, mechanical, electrical, or facility support.

• 1-3 years relevant experience in maintenance or facility operations.

• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical systems.

• Capable of using hand tools, power tools, measuring tools; reading basic technical drawings or manuals.

• Physical fitness: ability to lift moderate weights, work standing, bending, and in various environmental conditions.

• Good communication skills in English; any additional language (Arabic, etc.) is a plus.

• Proactive attitude, strong problem-solving, ability to work under supervision and as part of a team.
