Role – What You’ll Do
You will drive new business growth for non-life insurance products by prospecting, relationship building, presenting proposals, negotiating terms, and closing deals. Your focus will be on corporate or commercial clients needing non-motor, property, liability, fleet, contractors, marine, and related insurance coverage.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and approach prospective non-life insurance clients (corporate / commercial) to present product solutions.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline via cold-calling, referrals, market networking, and customer visits.
Prepare insurance proposals in collaboration with underwriting teams; ensure they meet client needs and risk profiles.
Negotiate terms, premiums, and coverage; close new business deals.
Follow up to ensure premium collection, renewals, and cross-sell / upsell opportunities with existing clients.
Maintain knowledge of non-life product lines, local regulations, and competitive offerings.
Provide periodic reports on leads generated, conversion rates, revenue performance, and pipeline status.
Work with internal teams (underwriting, claims, operations) to ensure client satisfaction and smooth policy issuance.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Finance or similar.
2-4 years experience in non-life insurance sales / business development in UAE or similar market.
Strong sales & negotiation skills; ability to close deals and build lasting relationships.
Good product knowledge for non-life lines: property, liability, motor fleet, contractors, marine etc.
Excellent communication (verbal & written) in English; Arabic is a plus.
Ability to work to targets / KPIs, manage pipeline, multitask.
Valid UAE driving license + willingness to travel locally for client meetings.
