Role – Content Strategy & Copywriting Manager
As Content Strategy & Copywriting Manager, you’ll lead development of the company’s content strategy and brand voice. You’ll oversee content planning, creation, editing, and distribution. Your work will ensure consistency, engagement, and alignment with business goals. You’ll manage a team of writers/copywriters, collaborate with creative, marketing, and other departments, and use data to refine strategy & performance.
Key Responsibilities
Define and implement the content strategy & editorial calendar across digital, social, web, and campaign channels.
Develop and maintain the brand’s tone of voice, style guidelines, messaging pillars, and ensure consistency across all content.
Lead copywriting efforts: produce high-quality copy for campaigns, product pages, landing pages, emails, social posts, etc.
Mentor, manage, and develop a team of copywriters / content creators, ensuring quality, creativity, and timeliness.
Collaborate with designers, UX, product, and marketing teams to ensure content supports visual identity and user experience.
Use analytics to measure performance (engagement, conversion, traffic) and optimize content & copy accordingly.
Keep up with content trends, SEO best practices, storytelling techniques, and consumer behavior changes.
Ensure content production workflow is efficient: briefs, reviews, approvals, revisions.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or similar.
5-8+ years of experience in content strategy & copywriting, ideally having managed writers / content teams.
A strong portfolio of diverse writing: campaigns, web, social, content marketing; demonstrating excellent copy & messaging.
Deep understanding of digital content best practices, SEO, UX writing, social media content principles.
Strong editing, grammar, and storytelling skills.
Excellent leadership, project management, and collaboration skills.
Analytical mindset: comfortable using content metrics, user feedback, and A/B testing to refine strategy.
