Job Overview

Role – Packer / Helper

As a Packer / Helper at Wild North Fish, your primary responsibilities will include packaging seafood products, ensuring packing conforms to hygiene / quality standards, assisting with sorting and preparing packs for shipment, labeling, and maintaining workspace cleanliness. You’ll work with refrigerated/frozen fish or seafood items, and must adhere to safety and food-handling protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Pack seafood products (caviar, smoked fish, premium seafood) according to packaging standards.

• Label, seal, and prepare packs for dispatch.

• Assist with sorting quality items, rejecting or separating those that do not meet standards.

• Maintain hygiene standards in the packing area; clean workstations, equipment, and tools.

• Help load/unload packing materials or incoming stock, if required.

• Follow safety rules and regulations including food safety & storage requirements.

• Report any quality or packaging issues to your supervisor.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-4 years experience in packing, warehouse, food production or similar settings.

• Physically fit: able to stand long hours, lift moderate weight, work in cool/refrigerated environments.

• Basic English communication skills; ability to follow instructions accurately.

• Attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination.

• Understanding of food hygiene & safety practices is a plus.

• Ability to work in shifts and adapt to schedule changes.
