Firstly, In this post, I’ll talk about the most popular Asian students scholarships programs offered by the US. Secondly, I’ll point out the universities that are offering good scholarship opportunities. Thirdly and most importantly most pocket-friendly scholarship program.  In other words, to Promote relationships with Asian countries, the United States funded and initiated multiple scholarship programs. Therefore, here we are discussing the top 3 scholarship programs fully initiated for Asian Students.

1)- Japan-US Friendship Commission Scholarships (JUSFC):

JUSFC is offering Scholarships in Social Sciences. In 1975 US Congress started an independent agency called JUSFC According to the JUSFC.gov website as assistance to Japan-US Government formed a trust fund which was administered under JUSFC. JUSFC is offering Scholarships in the below main programs:

• Social Science Fellowships Program:
Firstly the main goal of this program is to promote Japan Studies in the US. This program is a joint venture of the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and JUSFC. Secondly, according to NEH website, the maximum scholarship amount is $60,000 with $5000 per month grants. According to NEH areas focused in this program are anthropology, economics, geography, history, international relations, linguistics, political science, psychology, and sociology.

2)- EWC Scholarships and Fellowships For Asian Students:

The purpose of this Scholarship program is to promote Asian and American relationships. However, the University of Hawaii funded East and West Scholarships and fellowships. In addition, EWC was established in 1960 by the US Congress in an effort to promote American Asian culture. However, around 8000 Asian students are benefited from this scholarship program. The main programs and fellowships offered by EWC are below:

a) Student Scholarships and Fellowships
b) Visiting Fellowships & Scholars
d) Journalism Fellowships and Exchanges
e) Leadership Development

I. 2022 Pacific Islands Leadership Program: This scholarship is specified for students with leadership qualities. ECW is accepting applications for the 2022 Pacific Islands Leadership Program (PILP).

II. CSC-EWC Visiting Scholars Program
This scholarship is specifically for analysts and scholars from China who wished to do research in the US. Ares of research under this scholarship program is governance, security and justice; environment, population, and health; and innovation, economic integration, and growth as well as higher education policy.

III. North Pacific Arctic Conference (NPAC) Fellowship
ECW and KMI (Korean Maritime Institute) started this program. This program is specifically made for the US, Canada, Russia, China, Japan, and South Korea. The purpose of this fellowship is to address and prevent issues affecting the arctic.

3) Freeman Asian Scholarships program by Wesleyan University:

Wesleyan University is a US-based Institute hosting students from China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. Wesleyan University offers a full scholarship for 4 years bachelor’s degree, this also included the disabled student’s quota.
